With King County’s “screw you and give us all you got” taxes, I bet it was bigly. That said, the fees for registering in Everett have nearly tripled over the last 4 years.

Most likely. They use some weird outdated appraisal system. My base model F150 is somehow valued above 30K. I had to fork over $390, while my wife’s one year mid level CX5 was $375.

I just moved away from WA 6 months ago, but my KTM motorbike is still registered there so I got a notice for registration. $296. Last I heard they were supposed to have “fixed” the insane registration fees. Guess not. Fuck you, WA.

My county appraised my 1995 Tacoma at $1600, and my Ranger at $1200. Granted that’s close to what I paid for them, but way bellow what they’re actually worth. I’m not complaining though.
